Beautiful Antique Bronze Seated Nude With Dove Signed S. Bizzard. Suzanne Bizzard French 1873-1963. It comes with a special marble base with inset squares. I purchased this for my own collection from a New York dealer at the Miami Beach Antique and Jewelry show almost 20 years ago when we used to exhibit at that show. He found the base and sold me the bronze with this unique base. I am offering it with the base that weighs 11.6 pounds, the bronze weighs 8.8 pounds. It can be enjoyed with or without the base. It lifts right off the marble base. This bronze has its own bronze base attached to the sculpture. There are not many auction records for this artist. I think people that are fortunate in owning any of her sculptures don't wish to sell them as they enjoy seeing them in their homes. The bronze measures 10-1/2 inches wide, 4 inches deep and is 8-1/8th inches high not including the marble base. The decorative marble base measures 11-1/4 inches wide, 5-1/2 inches deep and is 2 inches high. It weighs 11.6 pounds. Both the bronze and the marble base are in excellent condition guaranteed to please and delight the new owner.
