1984 "Sophistication" Necklace, Erte # 110/250 limited edition signed Erte with original box and COA State 1. "Sophistication" is an exquisite carving composed of precision-cut stones and precious metals in high and low relief. Inset in the elegant carving is a portrayal of the delicately sculpted face of a woman wearing an intricately carved precious metal headdress with a detailed pattern. Erte's authorized signature is affixed to each work in the edition. Each work in the edition is individually numbered and bears the precious metals stamps. The CFA copyright is stamped on each work. From the "Sophistication" collection and designed in silver and yellow gold, accented with sapphires and diamonds and with a carved female mother of pearl womans profile. The necklace is designed to dissemble.The central station may be worn as a brooch and the two side elements assembled as a necklace, signed "Erte" on mother-of-pearl and marked CFA Sterling 14KT 110 / 250. Accompanied by original retailer's Circle Gallery of Chicago presentation box The nrcklace 10 inches .from top to bottom . Pendant 3.5 inches.
