Rare Antique Carl Kauba Vienna Bronze Indian On Horse Back With Steer. This is very rare model. The only one like it I have seen in my more than 50 years experience buying, selling, appraising and collecting antiques and bronzes. It measures from the bottom of the base to the top of the horses head 10-1/4 inches high. From the tip of the steers nose to the top of the Indians feather it measures 13-1/4 inches. The base is 11-1/2 inches wide by 5-5/8ths inches deep by 1-5/8ths inches high. It is inscribed C.Kauba on the base. This a beautifully sculptured Vienna Bronze by Carl Kauba circa 1900. It weighs 17 pounds. Guaranteed to please any Vienna Bronze or Western Bronze collector. It is a very animated sculpture one of Kaubas best. It is in excellent condition.
