Beautiful Antique Austrian Bronze Boy Hiding A Pipe Behind Him Signed R. Langer. It also has a foundry seal and is marked Bronze. It has a hand wrought finish going all around the base and is also inscribed Der Zweite Versuch. The little boy is beautifully sculptured he is trying to look so innocent with his finger in his mouth as he hides his pipe that he knows he shouldn't be smoking behind him. He measures 7-1/4 inches high. The base has a diameter of 2-1/2 inches. The little boy not including the base measures 5-1/2 inches high. This bronze is in excellent condition and has a lovely medium chocolate brown patina. Weight 1.8 pounds.
