Exquisite Carved Carnelian Brooch 14k Gold & Platinum Tipped Warrior Lion Helmet

Exquisite Victorian carved intaglio Carnelian agate brooch 14k gold and platinum tipped warrior with lion helmet. The brooch depicts a superbly carved warrior with a lion on top of his helmet. There is a shield and spear also in the carving. There are 6 sections of the 14k gold frame that are platinum tipped. This piece could have the pin removed and a loop placed to comfortably wear this as a pendant if one so desired. It is one of the best carved intaglio carnelian agate and gold brooch/pin we have had the pleasure to purchase and offer for sale. It measures 1-1/8 inches high and 3/4 inch wide. Weight 9.6 grams. It is in excellent condition.
