Beautiful antique English sterling silver and silver plated fish knife. The spacer is English sterling silver maker's mark JHP, a crown, walking lion, and small date letter b. The surface of the fish knife blade is beautifully hand chased with a flower and leaf design. The other side of the fish knife blade is marked JHPS, then EPNS A1, O.FRYDMAN MADE IN ENGLAND. The fish knife and handle are in excellent condition. It measures from the point of the blade to the back of the handle 11-7/8 inches. The widest width of the blade is a little more than 2 inches. The length of the blade is 7 inches. Weight 152.2 grams. This is a beautifully made piece with a lovely shape and design and superb quality in its manufacture. This is one of the nicest antique fish knives you might ever hope to find.
