American Sterling Silver Gilt Lined Patch Box Washington Reproduction

Beautiful antique sterling silver patch box. It is inscribed along the side of the box "Arline from Pauline 4/30/52". The underside of the box is inscribed Sterling Silver, WASHINGTON REPRODUCTION, REPRODUCTION OF PATCH BOX FRANCIS RICHARDSON PHILA. 1718-1729, ORIGINAL IN PENNSYLVAIA ART MUSEUM. It is also marked BROCK AND COMPANY and numbered 210. The box weighs 71.7 grams. It measures 2-3/4 inches long, 2-1/8 inches wide and 3/4 inch high. When you open the box, you see the brilliant gold finish still intact. This is a wonderful collector's box guaranteed to please its new owner. The top has a beautifully engraved flower with pointed leaves in the background. It also has an intricate design going along the edges at the top. We have never seen one like this before. It is a beautiful box that will surely please its new owner.
