Beautiful antique English sterling silver 3 piece tea service William Hunter, London, 1860. The service consists of a teapot measuring 10-1/8 inches from the back of the handle to the tip of the pouring spout. Height to top of the finial 8 inches. Width 6-1/2 inches. The teapot is beautifully hand made and in excellent condition. It has a presentation inscription on the front dated 9 April 1863. The handled sugar bowl measures 5-1/16 inches high, 7-1/4 inches wide from handle to handle, and 5-1/2 inches wide at the bottom. It has a 3 letter monogram on the cartouche on one side only. The cream jug also has a matching monogram on one side only. It measures 6-1/4 inches high to the top of the handle. From the pouring spout to the back of the handle it measures 4-3/4 inches. Width 3-3/4 inches. The set is in very good to excellent pre-owned condition. It has a combined weight of 44.5 troy ounces. It has a beautiful shape and design and is guaranteed to please any English silver collector.
