Antique 18k Gold Platinum Diamonds Thirteens Fan

Exquisite handmade antique 18k gold fan set with 13 old cut diamonds platinum set across the top and a brilliant European cut diamond at the base near the loop. The back of the pendant has a pin making it wearable as a brooch or pendant. The number 13 is sculptured in each of the 13 fan sections. This may have been a gift for a Basmitzvah girl in the early 1900s. This was an expensive gift back then. The detail and quality of this custom made jewelry item is exquisite. The detail carving and craftsmanship in the making of the fan is the best we have ever seen. The diamond near the loop of the fan measures .15 points. It is an old European cut I color VS-2 clarity. The thirteen diamonds at the top of the fan are old rose cuts, very nice color and clarity. This is a unique brooch or pendant that will surely satisfy its new owner. This piece was made in Argentina during the first half of the 20th century circa 1930s. This is a beautiful piece weighing 17.4 grams and measuring 2-3/8 inches wide by 1-5/8 inches high.
