Robert Merrell Gage Bust Artist's Grandaughter Shirley

Robert Merrel Gage (1892-1981 Laguna Beach CA) "Shirley" bust of the artist's granddaughter incised with signature, title and date: Shirley by "Opa" Gage 1966, Terracotta on wooden base. The bust measures 13 inches high not including the wooden base, 7 inches widest width. The wooden base measures 1-3/4 inches high by 6-1/2 inches wide by 6-3/8 inches deep. The bust including the base measures 15 inches high. It is in excellent condition just how the artist sculptured it almost 60 years ago.
