Antique Art Nouveau Gilt Bronze Lady Signed A. Mareil

Exquisite antique gilt bronze Art Nouveau maiden rising from the sea. It is artist inscribed A. Mareil on he back. The bronze is set on a beautiful polished, variegated green onyx beveled base with a gilt bronze under plate. Se has a beautiful face with a lovely kind and gentle expression. She rises from the sea like Venus. The bronze measures 11-3/4 inches from the bottom of the base to the top of her hair. From the bottom of the bronze to the top of her hair she measures 10-1/2 inches. The base has a 5-1/4 inch diameter. Weight 6.25 lbs.
