Antique Painting on Porcelain Plaque Nude With Cupid

Large beautiful painting on porcelain plaque depicting a nude nymph taking Cupid's bow and arrow away after he used it to shoot a bird. In the background of this composition is a carved garden term figure. This an extremely lifelike painting beautifully painted in lovely colors. It dates from the last quarter of the 19th century. The painting is artist signed M. Uglasby it is in excellent condition. The plaque measures 10 inches high by 7-1/4 inches wide. It is framed in a contemporary antique style frame measuring 20 inches high by 17-1/2 inches wide.
