French 935 Silver Gilt Wash Enamel Compact

Beautiful French 935 silver gilt wash enamel compact. The compact has beautiful engraving on the bottom and a sky blue enamel on top. The interior has a glass cover over one side where one might keep a picture or lock of hair. There is a ring at the top for a chain. The glass has a tiny chip along the interior edge approximately 1/8 inch long. Otherwise the condition is excellent. Diameter 1-7/8 inches, height 2/5 of an inch, length from the bottom to top of ring 2-1/8 inches. Weight 33 grams.
