Exquisite Antique French Art Nouveau Porcelain Vase Hand Painted with a Cherub & Butterflies. The cherub is holding a bow in one hand a an arrow in the other. He is riding on a big butterfly high up in the clouds. To his left a bird flies by and to his right is another butterfly. The vase is decorated in gold and gilt highlights with a beautiful design. It has a gilt border on the underside and along the middle and top borders of the vase. The quality of the painting, the composition, the shape and design are magnificient. This will make a wonderful addition to an advanced porcelain collector's collection. It is in excellent condition guaranteed to please the new owner. The opening at the top measures 3-5/8 inches wide, height 9-1/2 inches and the widest width is a little more than 5 inches.
