Large Beautiful Vienna Porcelain Putti Topped Soup Tureen. The top of the tureen has a fully sculptured porcelain seated baby holding fruit above a basket of apples and grapes. There are high relief sculptured roses around the putti and beautiful hand painted flowers decorating the top. The bottom section has hand painted flowers decorating the sides. It measures 13-5/8 inches from handle tip to handle tip across. Widest width 8-1/4 inches. From the bottom of the tureen to the top of the babies head 9-3/4 inches high. When I shot the pictures under bright lights I noticed a hairline on the underside along one edge. It doesn’t go through the piece its just on the surface of the underside.
