Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Vinaigrette Birmingham Thomas Shaw 1828. The case is beautifully hand chased it has a small cartouche with the initials JC. It has a solid ring at the top where one could place a chain and wear it as a necklace. The inner case is gold over silver with a reticulated cover. The top inner case has a king's portrait head, maker's mark TS and a walking lion. The bottom has an anchor, TS and the date letter for 1828. This is a lovely vinaigrette with a beautiful gold over silver interior. It measures from the bottom to the top ring 1-1/4 inches. It is 5/8 inches wide and 3/8 inches deep. It weighs 10.9 grams. It is in excellent condition guaranteed to please any vinaigrette collector.
