Antique 800 Continental Silver Gilt High Relief Sculptured Snuff Box. The top of the box depicts a man standing and serenading a seated lady. He plays his mandolin while she sits and listens to his singing and music. In the background are buildings and trees. With a high relief sculptured design of flowers and wreaths along the sides of the box. Inside it has a bright gold over silver interior. The box has a diameter of 1-7/8 inches. It is 3/4 inch high. Weight 40 grams, 1.28 troy ounces. The box is marked on the inner bottom lip 800 with crescent moon and crown. The box is in excellent condition guaranteed to please the new owner.
