Vintage Chinese Carved Dark Blue & Light Blue Hardstone Resting Duck. It has good weight and weighs 468.5 grams. The underside of their webbed feet is also carved, you can see the nice detail I this piece on both sides. It will look lovely in a cabinet with other chinese carvings or on a desk as a paper weight or anywehere you place it to be admired iThe condition is excellent. The varying blue colors are very attractive. The ducks wings are intricately carved. This is a very attractive piece it measures 4-1/4 inches long from chest to tail. From side to side it measures 2-5/8 inches widest width. It measures 2-1/2 inches high not including the carved fitted wood base with silver inlay. With the base it measures 3-3/4 inches high to the top of the duck's head. The base measures 4-1/2 inches long and is 3 inches widest width.
