Antique 19th Century Bronze Sculpture Depicting 2 Children

Wonderful antique bronze sculpture depicting 2 children. One is holding a bowl, the other child is holding his hand trying to get his attention. There is a basket of fruit in-between the 2 children. The child holding the bowl has an open picnic basket by his left foot. This is a lovely bronze in excellent condition dating circa 1880s. It is unsigned and unmarked and is in excellent condition guaranteed to be more than 100 years old. It will make a wonderful paperweight bronze or a welcomed addition to any collection. It looks great on your desk, or could be used as a bookend. The bronze is mounted on a black marble base. The base measures 6-1/8 inches long by 4-1/4 inches deep by 7/8 inch high. The sculpture including the base measures 7-3/4 inches high. The bronze is 3-1/2 inches deep and 5 inches wide. The children are dressed in early 19th century clothing and both are beautifully sculptured. This is a wonderful bronze that will surely please its new owner.
