Superb Art Deco Male & Female Bronze Nudes Embracing

Superb Art Deco bronze sculpture artist signed M. Krejig depicting a beautiful nude woman holding her handsome lover's hand while he leans forward with his arm around her waist and kisses her hand. This is a very romantic and sweet sculpture displaying this artists anatomical knowledge and high degree of craftsmanship and sculptural ability. The bronze is in magnificent condition it has a beautiful chocolate brown patina and is in my opinion one of if not the finest double figured male and female nude sculptures I have ever had the pleasure to see, purchase, and offer for sale. It is inscribed M. Krejig on the base. We just cleaned about 50 years of dust off the sculpture it had been in storage quite a while and waxed the surface. After gently cleaning the dust and dirt the sculpture came out like a jewel the patina is perfect. It measures 21-7/8 inches high from the bottom of the base to the top of the man's head. Widest width from his side to her elbow is 9 inches. The base has a diameter of 8-5/8 inches and a height of 1/4 inch. This beautiful sculpture is guaranteed to please the most particular Art Deco or bronze collector.
