Superb Porcelain Plaque Cupid Psyche Signed K. Forster

Exquisite antique painting on porcelain plaque depicting Psyche and Cupid ascending to the heavens. Psyche is dressed in a transparent gown with her beautiful lavender and pink wings as she rises in the arms of Cupid to the heavens where she will be made a Goddess. The painting is signed in the lower right. K. Forster. The porcelain plaque is beautifully painted the figures look alive as they fly through the clouds. Cupid is looking lovingly at Psyche as he embraces her close to him and flies her to the heavens. This is a wonderful subject. The quality of this painting on porcelain and the condition is the best you might ever hope to find. This is an extraordinary example artist signed in the lower right K. Forster.
